A Yummy and Healthy Oats Halwa Sweet Recipe to Try
Feeling like a sweet treat? Here’s a quick and delicious recipe for oats halwa that you will absolutely enjoy. This recipe is a result of one of my kitchen experiments, and trust me, it tastes yummy! As a fan of sooji ka halwa, I decided to switch sooji (Rava) with oats when my Dad brought home a 1 kg pack of oats. And ta-da! I came up with a healthier version of halwa. Here is the recipe for my Healthy Oats Halwa Sweet.

Ingredients
Oats – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Water – 1 ½ cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Elaichi (cardamom) – 2 pods
Raisins and melon seeds – for garnishing
Preparation Steps
1. Add 2 tbsp of ghee to a cup of oats and roast them well in a wok (kadai).
2. Roast until they turn slightly brown.
3. Pour 1 ½ cups of water and add ½ cup of sugar.
4. Let it boil on full flame for some time.
5. Once it reaches a halwa-like consistency after about 5 minutes, turn off the flame.
6. Garnish with raisins and melon seeds.
7. Enjoy your delicious oats halwa!
